I didn't study any Chinese during the past two days but instead spent some time with my family over Christmas. I enjoyed these days a lot and I also feel that taking this short break reinforced my motivation to pursue Chinese. Now I first need to get my Anki queue to zero. Current: 946 due cards

Morning session Anki. Usually, my Anki rhythm is to do reviews in the morning before work. I try to keep my queue around 50 minutes which is the amount of time I can spare on a daily basis. Whenever the queue gets shorter, I will unsuspend some new words in the evening. But since this is a challenge, I want to try to have two Anki sessions per day. Let's see how it works out!

Anki. Besides learning vocab, I have also started to read 青铜葵花. It's a nice story, set in the countryside during the cultural revolution, and its language seems quite beautiful to me

I'm prestudying the vocab of the novel 青铜葵花 with Anki. It's going steady, but it is still two more weeks or so before I can start reading it
