I wasn't able to do much on Friday or over the weekend due to having a family Christmas party with my in-laws, but I ended up taking the train back while my wife stayed down a little while longer. Between the train ride, and some free time I had in the evening, I finally managed to get on top of my reviews. I didn't learn any new words, but now I can start learning new words again without feeling like I'm just digging a bigger hole.

Spent some time working on my Skritter reviews, trying to get on top of the backlog.

Today I learned four new words, which took me about 30 minutes. I reviewed 10 words to keep my Skritter streak up. I spent some time later this evening watching more of my episode of 大耳朵图图 and adding more words to my list to study later。 图图吃完他的鸡蛋羹，不过他还饿。他的口味很独特。他要吃烤肉串炸臭豆腐干烤红薯冰激凌彩虹糖饼干花生米牛肉干豆奶酸奶橘子汁胡萝卜汁苹果汁。我现在睡觉，明天学这些单词。 晚安！

I spent most of my time on the 13th working through my Skritter backlog. Though I didn't learn any new words today I think I did some good review and strengthened my grasp on a few words that hadn't quite stuck in my head previously.

The pace that I was trying to set finally caught up to me and I skipped a few days, leaving me a lot of review on skritter. I spent most of today reviewing my words and have not learned any new words today. According to the app, I reviewed 240 cards today (some of them were the same word, but different language aspect, i.e. writing, tone, definition, pin yin). Tomorrow will probably have a primary focus on review as well, though I will try to add some new words if I can as well.

I've been trying to get into a habit of learning vocabulary regularly. I've started out with trying to do 10 a day. I'm feeling the weight a bit now though. I've been hoping that it will get easier and I'll get faster, but right now I think I might have to drop it down. This time though, I pulled my words from the show 大耳朵图图. I've been working my way through the first episode of season two, Tutu's first day at 幼儿园。 I've picked up over 150 new words just in this episode, which I add to Skritter and learn 10 at a time. I first look at the Outlier entries, definitions and examples for each word or phrase, then learn the phrase using Skritter. Overall it's gone well, but as I mentioned it's been a lot. I may need to cut it back so I don't get overwhelmed by reviews.
