Awesome! I was doing that too at one point. There's LingoTube (for android) and Language Reactor (web and browser extension) for watching videos with overlay so you can easily see translations of words and, in the case of Language Reactor, save vocabulary words.

@Ruth Thanks for the recommendations! I really became quite a big Peppa Pig fan through watching this show in Chinese, haha :D. The downside is that there aren't many videos of it with subtitles... However, I've seen most episodes on the main channel so often now that I am quite familiar with what's said and I can pick out words by hearing fairly easily. I've gone through the trial period of Language Reactor and honestly, I am still struggling to find the right app for stuff like this that meets all my requirements. If I remember correctly, it's not possible to edit the meaning of the words in Language Reactor, right? That's a real downside for me, since the translation is not always right. I've found that a lot of apps also don't work very well for Chinese, while they work fine for other languages. I've been using LangBrowser on android for other languages, it works fairly well for text, ebooks, web pages and videos. I love Pleco and it works really well for me in most regards, though it still misses integration with videos for me. Still struggling to unite it all :').
