Du Chinese Three Kingdoms Prologue: Oath of the Peach Garden. Listened the whole story three times. First while reading the translation, second time reading along with the Hanzi, third time just the audio. Afterwards re-listening TeaTime Chinese ep42 about Guan Yu.

I had a hard day at work and was too tired to actively listen on my way back home. So I put on a podcast called 5分钟心理学 for some background audio while doing a sudoku puzzle to unwind. This is a new to me podcast. I like the way she speaks. It’s very soothing. I listened to 8 episodes, so I assume it must be 40 minutes ;-)

Back to podcasts now the weekend is over. 5 episodes of MaoMi Chinese (ep3-7) during my commute to work.

Binge watching Triad Princess on Netflix. Since it’s not all Mandarin I’m reporting 60% of the duration.

Watched first episode of ‘Nothing but thirty’

Listened to 4 episodes (37-40) of Teatime Chinese on my way to work.

First time using Du Chinese. So far I really like it. I just listened to 4 stories related to New Year: Lili explains New Year's Eve to Ben (intermediate), Ben spends New Year's Eve at Lili's home (upper intermediate), Where did New Year's Money come from (advanced), How many New Years are there in China (advanced). I think intermediate is my level when it comes to reading. Listening seems to be easier for me. That's why I was trying higher levels as well for this challange. However, the last one was quite hard due to the amount of unknown vocabulary. Think I will stick to intermediate and upper intermediate for a while.
