Added a little extra and forgot to post it. Great month!

Agreed! I'll write something about it and post it on Hacking Chinese shortly. Let's see if we can convince more people to go for more ambitious goals in the next listening challenge!

Anyone tried SYS Mandarin. On YouTube? Good stuff.

No, never heard of it, and I try to keep track of these things! The number of good channels on YouTube has exploded in recent years. I will definitely add this to my list of things to check more carefully when updating the best free listening article. Also, when it comes to the challenge, I'm tempted to try to get to 100 hours! I don't actually count conversations or interactions with real people in my hours, but I think I can get there without doing that. Audiobooks are pretty good for clocking large numbers of hours.

I found a new audiobook about a trip across the pacific ocean in Chinese.

It would be cool to compile a list of audiobook resources. The problem is that most of them are probably illegal and usually don't stay for long. I've found that searching YouTube, Bilibili and other services is quite useful, and then download only the audio (that's how I'm listening now, for example).

Today the water main in my district flooded and school was canceled. I didn't know. So I got tons of work done and listened to tons of Chinese!

There's opportunity in every disaster! :) I got stuck on a train yesterday, which increased my listening time quite a bit!

This looks crazy but it's a Sunday. I'm doing a lot of passive listening today. To make up for the days I can't get listening done....
