I have been dictating a specialized text to google translate. Chunking long sentences into shorter ones seems to be more effective than reading two-line sentences, for example. The fact that the text was specialized (linguistics) was a bit of a problem to practice pronunciation, because it used lexical combinations that are not common in everyday communication and were probably not the first option for the system.
