Reviewed my tones pairs and after yesterday getting 6 wrong, today I got them all correct! YEAH! On to the next one tomorrow!

Great idea: Yo Yo Chinese has a chart that is pretty handy. Tone Pair chart. Click refresh. New set here. Screen shot. Print out 3 times. take one, cover up all the pinyin. Take second and cover up the Chinese character. Leave the English there. Then you have the vertical 1st 2nd 3rd fourth. Then the horizontal 1st 2nd 3rd fourth. Now cut out each one from your paper. Now scramble. Take the only copy left and set it aside and no peeking. Now that you have little cards all over, with Characters and the english meaning. But no pinyin or tones.
Put an English one and character one together in the segment you think matches the tone pair.
Then you will have to switch a few of course because you'll start second guessing your decisions. Enjoy!

My daughter went to the YO YO pinyin page, https://yoyochinese.com/chinese-learning-tools/Mandarin-Chinese-pronunciation-lesson/pinyin-chart-table looked up one pinyin word, chose a tone and I wrote the pinyin and tone and she told me if I was wrote or wrong.
