intensive work on a single sentence with a tutor- both in order to understand how to put a complicated thought together, and to find a single word, without which the whole thing is lifeless. Got there. Extraordinary happy.
向生活发送一张账单,要求立即付款。因为它很讨厌。Xiàng shēnghuó fāsòng yī zhāng zhàngdān, yāoqiú lìjí fùkuǎn. Yīnwèi tā hěn tǎoyàn. Send life a bill for being Meaner than Expected, and demand prompt payment..

after two days of playing.... writing weird New Years blessings. This is my favorite- 向生活发送一张账单,因为它比预期的更卑鄙,并要求立即付款
Send life a bill for being Meaner than Expected, and demand prompt payment.
but I also liked the one about 请老虎和龙来吃饭, 因为他们聊得很愉快. Invite tigers and dragons to dinner because they are great conversationists. Actually my writing sucked and I needed to use a lot of Google help. But at least it was fun.

I ADORE having a limited yet functional vocabulary. It forces me to be really, really clear about what I want to say/write, and think outside the box for ways of expressing this.
It often involves having to talk in pictures.
This gives me a TREMENDOUS ADVANTAGE.

playing w 句子 and the subtle energies of some 词汇。。。 Generally doing a lot of thinking, and related listening and gradually getting my thoughts together. This occupied 3 hours..(unclaimed)
30 minutes 0.5h
Working with tutor, looking at partially written text. Not really any tweaking . The subtle differences in the way some terms are applied eg 科技 literally means science and technology, but is now widely used referring to technology, eg 人工技能,A I。Also some grammar points now understood better. Since this is pretty much the point of writing, this was really valuable.

next task write other half. really enjoying.

第一部分结束了。
480 汉字。
areas of time wastage----
spelling mistakes typing in Hanzi.
switching between Latin alphabet and Hanzi, estimating this wastage at maybe 20%.. Significant. Procedural? Practice will resolve?
The planned keywords worked well. Kept me to topic, and forced a level of simplicity.
Unknown 词汇。 4? dropped in in English, trans via AI and noted in the text for revision.
Question for next session- is there anything I can do to up output to time ratio?

how to construct complexity out of related parts- Justin Sung learning expert. Watched 2 vids last night. Really helpful even though not explicitly aimed at lang learning.
1
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okHkUIW46ks (relates
to lang learning- the need for immediate practice/live use of acquired material....)
2 breaking down complex and possibly entangled material into key words. Applied to learning from a textbook.
I am doing the reverse. Generating the text... ie reverse engineering.
next session
1. refine the key words
2. Shallow dive to the entire thing insert engl words if necessary to keep moving.

今天的故事, using a random topic generator, which asked for "canoes". Turns out I was able to write for 90 mins about something I encountered yesterday after swimming in the bay. Did not know canoe, 小小船 was fine, and the paddle was a pusher. No prob. I had a lovely time telling a lovely story, and now I am tired.... While in his dreams, a little boy is paddling a little canoe through the endless starry universe... 无尽宇宙。 handy words from previous poetry writings.

4 EXPRESSIVE–Writing poetry, expressive prose writing
I realize that I need to balance out the different kinds of output. And the difficulty of slotting in the more expressive side, which does not necessarily come on demand. But will not come at all unless invited!

a ton of needed 词汇 being learned in connection with yesterday's writing, which I will attempt to rewrite again today. not claiming learning time, just flagging it as a necessary part. Hopefully it will boost the activity later...
120 minutes 2.0h
completing work on the writing project. Translating a rather long piece of my writing into Chinese.
Used words I have never actively used "live" before.
Needed words, once learned and now forgotten. Relearned these words and used them immediately.
Used simple words and even metaphor to express complex ideas. I loved this. This is really making a limited 词汇 into an asset.
Had to "acquire" a limited number of words. These added to the immersion list for the day and encoded.
While the exercise was a little long I was able to concurrently listen to native material not previously heard, and in general I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
I had to pause the recording twice when reaching for a word. Helped. Word came.
I quite like the concurrent activities, writing and listening. The one sort of provides a context for the other.
Like the threads on the loom

Writing poetry. An unusually intense day. The poems are tiny. Sometimes they just come, without a fuss, but there is one involving the sound of crickets in the summer night that is being obstinate.
peraps they were obstinate crickets...
I sometimes use bitranslation, moving through multiple rounds of Chinese and English till I land where I want to be. Actually this is my usual method. Unless things are very simple, and the poem just comes.
there are not many words

it is not their
