Cleared my Skritter queue. Really wish I’d noted the number of words I knew before I started. My Skritter graph has a very impressive upward curve. Final total word count is 455 (421 unique). Got a long way to go still!

379 Skritter cards studied, 21 words learned (still all HSK 2). Have been focussing on the words I’ve already come across on Duolingo, Du Chinese and my chinese dramas. Curious to see how many words I actually know. Of course, writing them and getting the tones right are quite different from recognising the spoken word in a sentence!

Was ill so only got a minimum amount done.

Skritter queue hsk 2 and some drama words (xinu - calm down)

Skritter queue. Getting tough now as it’s a lot of 100% new words. Have started adding cdrama words too (gui - ghost, emo - devil and rumo - posessed). Exciting as this will help not needing subtitles for my favourite xianxia dramas (:

30mins Skritter, 10 mins Du Chinese Flashcards

Cleared skritter queue and added 23 words.

40mins skritter queue (306 cards). 25mins Du Chinese flashcards, Duolingo and Skritter time attack.
Skritter flashcards seems to work better for me than the Du Chinese ones. I nearly always mark the cards as “not known” on Du. It seems that the writing, voice and tone checks on Skritter are a powerful combo for remembering.

Busy day so only got a bit done (Duo, Skritter)

393 Skritter cards (cleared due) and Duolingo.

280 cards studied. Have started adding words from DaShuMandarin’s teacher Richard to keep things more interesting. I have gone past the HSK 1 & 2 words I find easy and am starting to slow down on the clearing of my queue. Will have to be careful not to add too much from now on before it gets unmanageable.

Mostly Skritter (199 cards) and a bit of Duolingo.

Continued adding new items to the skritter deck.

Going well - still making some errors on the tones but the rest is pretty smooth.

Busy day so couldn’t do the full 30 minutes. 2mins skritter, 14 minutes Du Chinese flashcards and 2 mins Duolingo.

Filled in the gaps I had on the HSK1 & HSK2 Skritter decks.

Still revising backlog of Du Chinese flashcards. 40 resolved. Revised Skritter deck including 1 addition and did 1 Duolingo lesson (second run through the course).

Still going through my Skritter and Du Chinese flashcard decks (HSK 2 and random words from the elementary stories on Du Chinese. Am quite behind on the Du flashcards - still have 57 words to study and 38 words to improve on.
