listening to popup chinese podcasts. still having a hard time getting the audio at the elementary level without transcript help. even with the transcripts sometimes it seems like the actors' accents are crazy thick, which I think says a lot about how poorly my ear is trained to pick out different words. good news (if you can call it that) is i usually at least get some tiny sense of what the dialogue is about!

Trying to get a good start and listening to several new podcasts trying to find the right balance of "i" and "i+1" (or "i+3", etc.) listening.

getting started with CSLPOD. listening is something i have kind of neglected - it seems i have a long ways to go here as i'm struggling with even some of the basic audio samples.
