The last few days I’ve been doing a bit of practice using a Chinese handwriting book, learning some new characters that I’ve got on my Pleco flash cards and continuing with the Wang Wei poem. It’s noticeable how helpful repeating the same characters regularly is (when doing the poem) as those characters are beginning to look better. And there’s the added advantage of having a Wang Wei poem permanently in my head!

Chose a Wang Wei poem I’d like to learn by heart, checked good handwritten versions of each of the characters and tried to reproduce the good models of that hand writing by copying it many times.

Writing out from the sets of flash cards I’ve been building up on Pleco from characters I’ve looked up when reading.
