"Crossing the Language Barrier, Crossing the World"

A mix of writing and translation, I first composed three-paragraphs in English to get my ideas down on paper, then wrote a Chinese version (535 characters). I have recently found that I subconsciously limit my Chinese to what I am most comfortable using, so I did this to force myself beyond my comfort zone in how to express myself in Chinese, especially regarding longer and more complicated sentence construction. Initial results were good.
