A great description of unconsolable sorrow: 秃鹤不肯起来，泪水分别从两眼角流下来，流到耳根，又一滴一滴落在泥土上，把泥土湿了一片。But Bald Crane wouldn’t get up. Tears dropped from the corners of both his eyes, past his ears. They dropped to the ground and wet a piece of earth.

I'm reading The Straw House by Wenxuan Cao (草房子，曹文轩）. I got to the part of the novel where a bald kid's hat was stolen and run up a flag pole, and I really liked the descriptive language of the following passage: 有风。风吹得那顶白帽子在旗杆顶上微微旋转摆动，好像是一个人在感觉自己的帽子是否已经戴正。It was windy. The wind blew the white hat, which slightly turned, as if someone were adjusting it to see whether it was properly on.

I'm reading a book about a kid in elementary school who is completely bald and teased by the other kids. He wears a hat to cover his bald head, but some kids steal the hat and run away with it. I find the following sentence to be very moving in describing the feelings of the kid. The Chinese version is so much more moving than the English translation.
