Something I noticed is that whenever there was "xiang", I would hear it as "shang". For example, in words like 相爱 （not sure if it's because the singer is Taiwanese, or I have some hearing problems xD）

《谢谢让遇见你》第一集 - watched it two times, the second, checking the unknown vocabulary.

Watched the first episode of a drama called 暖暖请多指教. All actors' speech was clear and standard (probably a voice-over), and not much slang was used, so I had no problem understanding what they were saying. The only problem is, I don't like the plot and everything is so dramatic and cringe, so it is unlikely that I'll continue with the next episodes.

Watched Mandarin Corner's "The 996 working culture"(2x25min), first without looking at the hanzi, and then a second time - reading the subtitles whenever I couldn't understand.
After that, I watched "University Student Talks About Her Life"(20 min), also a Mandarin corner's video. I'm surprised that I had a harder time understanding this one (compared to "996"), even though it uses simpler language and very common phrases and words. I think it has to do with the accent of the student.
