A lot harder to follow this audio-only, lots of relatively rare words & complicated 3-4 character words.
It is highly adapted, so in terms of language isn't that hard, but you can't really avoid all the complex cultural references and names, like Jade Emperor and the like. I've already read it the book a few months ago, so I kinda recognize the names and kinda know what is going to happen, so that takes some of the pain out of listening.
PavelBut unlike the Mandarin Companion audiobooks, I'm definitely not confident enough to listen to it at 1.5 speed.

That's one big challenge to listen to, isn't it? Even reading that in your mother tongue gets hard at times with the references
