The BCLUP graded readers can be found here: https://www.purpleculture.net/Graded-Readers-for-Chinese-Language-Learners-bs-661/. You probably want finish the Chinese Breeze series or Mandarin Companion before trying these. The historical language is a bit tricky. They are also much longer too which is nice.
