Today I read a story about a boy who finds a secret room in his house.

Today, in Chinese class I read for 13 minutes, and 3 new words I learned were 气味(qìwèi) which means oder, or scent, 逃跑(táopǎo) which means to run away or to flee, and lastly, 敲门(qiāomén) which means to knock on a dore.

Yesterday I read for 15 minutes, but forgot to report it, and today I read for 15 minutes too, so today and yesterday combined I read for 30 minutes!

Today I read a book about a girl and her cat going on an adventure to find a fortune teller.

Today I read for 15 minutes, took a 10 minute break, then read for 15 more minutes. One new word I learned was 担心(Dānxīn) which means to worry.

Today I read a book about a boy who wanted to play with his dad, but his dad was always too busy.

Two new words I learned are 粗心 (cūxīn) which means carless and 库房 (kùfáng) which means warehouse.

Today I read a story about a zookeeper who gets a job at a zoo where animals can talk.

Today I read on WordSwing. Two new words I learned are 灵媒 (língméi) which means psychic in English, and 下毒 (xiàdú) which means to poison in English.

Today I watched a Chinese video on YouTube during my lunch break while reading along with the captions. One new word I learned was 邪恶的 (Xié'è de) which means evil.

Some new words I learned when reading were 竹子 (zhúzi) which means bamboo, and 成为 (chéngwéi) which means to become, or to turn into.

I read on WordSwing today. One new term I learned was 茶杯 (chábēi) which means tea cup.

I played some Blooket studying the garden vocabulary from Wednesday. I got to round 22 on "Tower Defence" and was challenging myself to not look at the pin yin.

I read a story on Word Swing about a girl who wakes up in someone else's house.
