Pronunciation challenge, August 2021

I tried mimicking a dialogue on WordSwing. I also went over sounds I struggle with using the Yabla pinyin table, as well as the videos explaining differences between "shu" and "xu", etc.

Originally my goal was 15 mins every second day. I'll try to do 15 mins every day or 30 mins every second day now. I used speechling again. I think it's great for sentence practice

Worked on my tones with sinosplice tone pair drills. I also tried reading a chapter from a duchinese story.

Pleco cards from voice only + reading to conv partner

using speech input for Google translate - practice words it could not pick up

I did the Sinosplice tone drills, and tried to shadow a Mandarin Corner story video at half speed.

Worked on some quick shadowing. Shadowing is still a bit difficult for me, but I want to challenge myself.

I recorded myself saying the tone pairs in the same Hacking Chinese article from yesterday. I struggled a bit with "ju", "qu" and "xu" sounds, but it seemed to improve later on.
