This entire thread contains excellent suggestions for how to have good conversations for language practice in China, even if you're an introvert learner. I have tried several of these myself, not because I read about them here, but because I did them for other reasons and found out that they worked really well for language learning as well. A must read for anyone who feels that striking up conversations with random strangers is not easy or natural!
