Chinese at East has around 60 texts available for free for beginners and intermediate learners. Compared to other resources, the interface is not very fancy and only consists of Chinese characters, Pinyin and English translation, all written is separate paragraphs and without being visually connected to each other. There’s no audio either.
Still, the text is easy to access and it does contain the information most students want, without any frills. I also think the topics of many of the articles are quite interesting and that the number of difficult words is mostly kept at a minimum.
