A short listening test for the four Mandarin tones. Each of the 10 rounds plays a real word or phrase in the voice of a native NetChai teacher, and you choose the pinyin with the tone marks you heard.

Why it's useful: at the end you get a score, a listening level, and a breakdown of which tones you confused (e.g. "3rd tone heard as 2nd — 2×") with a tip for your weakest tone.
