Free word lists for the six HSK levels, from the 150 words of HSK 1 to the 2,500 of HSK 6. These are the six-level HSK 2.0 lists, not yet the new HSK 3.0 bands.

Each level has its own page with the whole list as a PDF and a CSV (characters, pinyin and English), and a link straight into practice in the browser: flashcards, recall and quizzes. The words you miss come back sooner than the ones you know. You don't need an account; your progress stays in that browser until you sign in.

Inside the app every word has audio, stroke order, the traditional form and measure words, with meanings in English, Spanish, Thai, Vietnamese or Indonesian. The short-lesson HSK 1 course is free too, as is lesson 1 of every other level.

When you want to use the words out loud, the same app has Xiaolu, a speaking partner who answers in Mandarin. One 10-minute talk is free; more talk time is paid. The word lists and the practice stay free.
